Had a very pleasant time down at Leuchars today with my brother, to watch a handful of displays to celebrate the 90th anniversary of 56 Sqn.

Love the shot of the Danish F-16 but you have a great selection of shots!

That looks fun a F3 racing a dragster I would like to see a F3 race an Typhoon T.1 brilliant shots there. Can I ask what does a Danish F-16 got to do with 56 SQN there or was it there just to display?

Here’s the car that beat the F3 … (circa 1963 vintage)
Maybe they should’ve put a lighter crew in the F3?

Thanks for the comments guys.
Unfortunately there wasn’t another 9 ship of F3’s, although 10 were parked up over on the ramp.
The Danish F-16s did fly a display.
To top the day off there was a race between a dragster and a F3. My last pic above is of the F3 during that race.

Nice shots, got to agree with Holty, the Tonka pair look great. Was there another 9 ship of F-3’s? Also did the Danish F-16’s get up or were they just static?
