Does anyone have the ORB for 582 Squadron and if so could you tell me if this chap was a WOP(Air) and when did he arrive on the Squadron? Was his F/Sgt number 1298453? He was flying with the Croft RNZAF crew when lost.

I had a look, yesterday, and found the following:-
P/O Croft and crew arrived 28-6-44, and their first op was on 23-7-44, to Foret Du Croc constructional Works.
When shot down Pocock was still listed as a W/Operator Sergeant, with the Service number you quoted, and they were in Lancaster III PB630 (A)
