Having a clear out recently, I came across the above item in a drawer. It was in its original (but opened) waterproofed box, with the part Identification tag still attached by string. It has obviously never been used, and is as good as new. Is anyone looking for such an item for a restoration?
I cannot be sure where it came from, but I think it might have come with a c1945 Transport Route Book that I acquired at an antiques fair in Colchester about 10 years ago.
Link below is to a similar item. I can provide photos if interested.

Thanks

Used in Spitfires
Not just in spits, used in most british built aircraft for the RAF/FAA from 1934 to well into the 1950’s, even saw a picture of one taken at the radio ops position inside the Washington aircraft .

Wouldn`t think you`d have much of a problem finding a home for it,the metal cased ones fetch decent money.
