5th July at Old Warden – Shuttleworth Military Air Pageant

Had a superb day at Old Warden today. It was my first visit there, the appearance of the Vulcan meant that I couldn’t miss the airshow, but I imagine like many first-time visitors today, I’ll be back very soon to enjoy the collection when I’ve got more time to spend there in the hangars.

Getting the Vulcan to display there was inspired by the show’s organisers because I think it’s brought a new crowd of people through the gates and enabled them to show off Old Warden and the unique aircraft there. It’s well worth a visit if you’ve not been there yet.
