6 Sqn losses 1938

Hi,

I am looking for the names of the pilot and gunner onboard the following three Hardys that were lost on operations in Palestine during 1938.

02/05/38 K4066 engine cut and stalled in crashed landing, Nejd Ishtar.
27/07/38 K4054 hit by ground fire and crashed, Tulkarm. 2 killed?
01/10/38 K4064 engine seized and crashed in forced landing near Ramallah.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Paul,

I have May/Bagge as being lost on 26 Aug 1938 when their Hardy, K4317 failed to return from a sortie. The aircraft was found burnt out near Attil.

Could this refer to the incident on 26/8/38 when P/O Francis Thomas May and Aircraftsman Terence Bagge were killed when their aircraft made a forced landing near Tulkarm
