Many thanks

Would like to see some pics of Ouston in its day. I recall visiting the burnt-out Meteor on the dump near the road there many years ago.

Would like to see some pics of Ouston in its day. I recall visiting the burnt-out Meteor on the dump near the road there many years ago. I also recall an old friend (now deceased) who was ground crew there telling me a story about a mid-air collision between two Spitfires. Apparently, the body of one of the pilots was missing its head and they were ordered to go out and look for it. Someone found it and, holding it up by its hair shouted “here it is”.
Said friend promptly vomited.
