Clearly very different from the Amur type
The very small cross-section is at the bottom. I got a huge version of a similar cross section for the Amur, if anyone recalls, from ITAR-TASS before they closed the door. Very different.
The first unit, Sankt Petersburg, has been under construction for a few years, and will be finished soon.

It strikes me as odd they’d talk about the Lada and then put a Kilo cross-section there- unless it’s just an uber-Kilo whoose external appearance need not be changed?
