Instead of resurrecting a zombie thread, the details are above. So is the 707 gone for good? Presumably the epitaph was written at the end of the old thread, but what was the whole story, a serviceable aircraft ferried from Oz to the UK for a project, for a dream? Who knows the facts and can tell them?
