Can any one help please. My Dad was called up in January 1946 as an AC fitter and sent to R.A.F. Little Horwood. He was demobbed as an LAC fitter in 1948 at RAF Manston. His superior officers where Sqdn Leader Dimmer and Fl Lt Truscott. My problem is that I can only find details of 71 Mu being at RAF Bicster, to which he says he never went. Can anyone help clear this up or know anything of the officers concerned. My Dad is James(Jimmy)Jones
Thanks
Frankie

Dad says there where no aircraft based there, the only aircraft coming in and out where for delivering Officers, for what reason he doesn’t know, the aircraft never stayed.
The only other aircraft that where there, had been brought in by the salvage crews.
