727 with a turbocharged six cylinder diesel engine!!!!!!!

MEXICO residents will soon be given the option of travelling in style in a converted Boeing 727 limousine. Guadalajara-based Limousines de Guadalajara Vaca Meters has a acquired a stored B727 and transformed it into a state of the art vehicle after three months of work modifying the aircraft’s fuselage and installing a six-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine in the back and air brakes and suspension. The company has removed the aircraft’s wings and has installed a new interior, with neon strobe lighting, a state-of-the-art video and music system and even a bar, a dance floor and beds. Despite the significant structural and internal changes, the company has retained the classic airliner windows but instead of wonderful views above the clouds, passengers using the new service will have to make do with views of other vehicles on the road. The modified aircraft will be available for hire from early May, with prices for a three-hour journey expected to cost in the region of $1000.

This I have to see… do you have any weblinks for more info about this? It must be difficult to drive a 727 fuselage around, are such long vehicles even allowed? Unless of course it is May’s fools day… 😉
