Just a thought for those who in a little over 3 or 4 hrs time 73yrs ago would be woken up to fly the double mission to Schweinfurt and Regensburg, 19% losses (24 and 36 a/c ). Not yet the mighty eighth in numbers but already that in effort and bravery…
