Evening Ray
Many years ago now. We would have passed in the galley as you were busy! I worked down the back of them between 95 and 00.
One of the old 42’s was on your side of the water last I heard. BVEF was working for a Canadian airline. Has a picture of a wolf on the tail now. Would like to get hold of that when it is scrapped, must be getting on a bit now.
Regards
John

Hi atr42, seeing your avatar reminds me of when I use to work on the CITY FLYER contract at Gatwick, loading, headsetting and tugging the ATR42 & 72,s.

Sadly my missus won’t even allow me to have a fuselage in the garden as a shed. No chance of an indoor sim. Here’s hoping for a lottery win. She can have half the mansion and I’ll do what I want with the other half!

If I had the money, I’d do the same, 757 style though. Love that machine.

That must have cost a packet! But with growing interest in realistic home simulators there are several pre-assembled components already available. There are also a lot of scrap 727s and 737s lying around these days.
