Not sure it his is the right place, but here goes, this morning, overflying Scunthorpe, North Lincs, a 747, overall white with red stripe on fuselage and i think up the tail, more red striping, so none airline and strange of all it’s undercarriage down, which as it flew into the distance, stayed down, now there is not a airport here, the nearest being Humberside / Kirmington, which i do not think can take a 747, and it is a fair distance from Scunny, unless it was going into Robin Hood, again a fair distance, so can anybody enlighten me ????

Kalitta Air
OK, cheers, just googled Kalitta, scheme looks right, and if one was at Robin Hood, possibly on a air test, but why over a built up area, bearing in mid what happened in the states, mind u that seem’s a bit careless losing an entire engine in flight !! Kalitta sound’s a bit iffy !!
