Aw shucks why not a swimming pool in the sky?
It saves dropping into the ocean by mistake or deliberately.

The A380 is reported to have been cancelled:

They shld see it as an improvement in security… when suicidal pilots are looking for the big dive
Ok… I am out ๐

Unbelievable. Seems all because Airbus rejected the swimming pool idea. In an Aeroplane?

Due to my confidentiality obligations, I cannot divulge that information of course (!).
I can inform you that the plane was ordered in 2007 by Prince Bin Talal but delivery was never accepted by him. A subsequent world wide financial crisis caused the Prince to decide to sell the plane. It is rumoured, and denied that it has been bought by the Saudi Ministry of Finance. It is also rumoured to be still parked at Toulouse.

You are obviously not up to date with the Prince’s plane (now sold)!
Iยดm not up to date either. Who bought that A380?
By: Bombgone - 6th April 2015 at 14:16
Yes I missed that one. Dam if I had known it was for sale I would have put a bid in. ๐

It looks a lot more comfortable than the Lufthansa B747-8 I flew in last week.
