748 trestles on ebay. Info for guys from Speke?

Good to hear Sisyphus G-BEJD is progressing with a view to being self supporting by Summers end……. Nice one team.

It seems like it was only yesterday since ‘Lakes Lightnings’ donated Sisyphus to Speke back in July/Aug 2010 after saving her from the scrapman!

We are nearly past the stage where we need fuselage trestles as we hope to have our 748 up on its wheels by the end of the summer (wing jointing operations permitting). She currently sits on a couple of home-made/modded trestles and these will be superfluous when the big day arrives and these, along with any more we might accumulate, will just be shoved around the back of the containers taking up valuable space once she’s on her wheels.

It’s a pity these weren’t up for grabs about three years ago as we’d have bitten the seller’s hand off.
