Hi to all for some time i have been looking into the 75 Sqd that was based at Mepal.I am still looking for information on the Airfield and any information would be grateful.i am looking for information on

No disrespect intended, and I wish you all the very best with your research, but I have to say that, if I were walking home alone at night and turned a corner to be confronted by that lot, I’d **** myself!

Not much to see on the airfield itself now – one hangar incorporated into a cardboard box factory. Straw-powered power station stands in centre of site. Very nice memorial close to former entrance, now a roundabout off the A142 Sutton bypass.
Very good small museum to RAF Witchford and Mepal in an office block at Lancaster Way industrial park at Witchford. I can put you in contact with the chap that runs it – he may be able to help.
