That aint the first pic , but the section 41 that was test built by boeing and the image was released on 26th of august 2005 . The section was abongs the 9 sections which were eventually build to test out the manufactering techniques and tooling processes aswell as to evaluate CFRP features.Some of the other sections look like this –

He probably means the first actual picture rather than a drawing or image.

How is that the “first picture” of a B787? :confused:

Is that going to be a the first 787 or a full scale mock up??????
