I think it looks very sharp.

Excellent Idea for a marketing campaign 🙂

That’s much improved to compare to the old Boeing livery

if you look at the picture, it says Air Berlin on the tailplane.

I did not notice that initially, but now I see it. Good lookin’ out Bhoy.

Wow, you can clearly see that the aircraft has only one load; itself and the engines. The engines hang very high above the ground (for a 737).

BTW: the 737 is not a ‘800 but a ‘700.

So then this aircraft will be in commercial service with Air Berlin sporting these colours with the Boeing titles still, or with their own?

This means that this lovely livery will be donned for only a short time. Such a waste of money.

Not necessarily. Air Berlin may keep this as a special livery for a bit longer. Who knows. It sure will keep these colours till Farnborough and ILA Berlin are over. So till July 24th or thereabout (F’borough) this livery should be around.

This is a regular 737 (800 I believe) that will be delivered to Air Berlin shortly.

The 717 has already had its eyebrows cut, but the 737 will also get them in due course.

That was on the 717. Hope they keep it, but did they just repaint a 737-700 prototype?

I thought they were getting rid of the eyebrow windows.

Good point. I remember reading that somewhere as well! However, this is not a prototype or something. This is a regular 737 (800 I believe) that will be delivered to Air Berlin shortly.

I think that’s exactly what it is.

Quite nice, though.
