Seeking the identity of 83 squadron Lancaster believed to have been crewed by the following W/O Kenneth Lane (Pilot), F/Sgt. Dick Raymond (F/Eng), F/Sgt. Don Cope (B/Aimer), F/Sgt. John Jones (Nav), W/O Stanley Aspinall (W/Op), F/Sgt. Ernest Davies (Gunner) and F/Sgt. Stanley Hall (Gunner). The aircraft Landed at Lashenden ALG in Kent with battle damage following a raid on the night of the 24th/25th April 1944.

The Lancaster was not lost it was repaired at Lashenden & flown out

Are you certain of the squadron and date? Bill Chorley doesn’t list an 83 Sqn loss between 11-12 Apr and 26-27.
