IIRC it was sold in October 2003 and now is with Iron Baron Corp. of Dover (DE)

Hi All,

Charles Kemps aircraft,

P-51d-20-NA 44-64005 is another 8th Vet. As a matter of fact the pilot Lt. George Vanden Heuval shot down nine aircraft in this plane. The planes name is Mary Mine

According to it’s entry on the Mustangs Mustangs survivors list it is indeed a former 8th.AF Mustang, see:

Doesn’t Flying Heritage, Inc. in Seattle have an 8th.AF bird with it’s original colors restored to her?
