Just when you thought all the warbirds had been tucked away for the winter….

There is always at least one servicable H11 aircraft available throughout the winter season 🙂

Never realised there was a jump seat in PT’s P40 before now.

Its always been there – we just like to keep it covered up 😉

Great shots there I knever knew PT P-40 was a two Seater guess thats the Engineer

He is a valuable member of our ground support team who has done a fantastic job helping to keep the aircraft airworthy and sparkling clean all year.

All depends on the weather and what else is going on, there have been open days that have been similar in the past but I think this would have to be the best yet.

Thanks for posting and solving the mystery. My 8 year old son was convinced that the one on the right was a P40 – having read the “US Army” markings – his eyesight obviously far better than mine.
Now really wish I’d gone with my gut feeling and headed up the road to Hardwick. Doh!
What a fantastic looking event, does this happen on last open day every year?

Thanks for sharing these, looks like a lovely little event. Never realised there was a jump seat in PT’s P40 before now.
