A 2p Day Out – Bremen 23/10/07

First post around here for a while, sorry it’s been a long time! I’m currently working 50 hours a week to save up for my travels next year, and trying to take/edit shots in my spare time, which leaves me very little chance to frequent the forums or post shots here. On Tuesday, on my day off, I took a ride over to Bremen on Ryanair. It was booked during their 2p (including taxes!) sale a little while ago, and I chose Bremen because it is a relatively large airport by Ryanair standards.

Upon arrival, I was very impressed to see that the airport have given Ryanair their very own extended terminal, designed for the Ryanair style of operation. This means that everything runs very efficiently and quickly, and it was also very modern and clean.

I then walked into the main terminal, nd headed for the observation deck. The Germans have certainly got it right with regards to viewing terraces! This one was excellent, it covered the whole length of the terminal, had flight arrivals/departures screens, and was free to get in. Here you can see quite a nice line up of aircraft, at a lot of Ryanair airports you don’t expect to see much more than Ryanair.

And then finally, this was about the best wingview I managed to pull off from the ride home (ok ok, but it was night time you know!)

I hope you enjoyed that short selection. On Monday I am off to Dublin for a couple of days to finish off an article that I have written for a magazine. This includes a free ride on the Aer Lingus A330 from Shannon to Dublin, so hopefully I should have some nice shots of that to bring you next week!
