A-50 Military Airplane Which Is in Russian Air Force Inventory to Be Upgraded in Taganrog

The Taganrog Beriev Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex has begun to work toward improvement of A-50 long-range radar detection and control airplanes. Overhaul of such aircraft already takes place here and a team has been organized for servicing. As the Interfax agency reports, the task also has been put to the Taganrog aviation complex to adapt the airplane for Indian armed forces requirements, with whom a contract for the delivery of three A-50 already has been concluded.
