A-7, work horse of the USAF/USN or costly mistake in the early 80's

how has the US felt about its service and development record

there are some who feel that it is an expensive mistake to continue development..

personally I liked the A-7, as I tend to like aircraft with a big mouth that goes sucky sucky 🙂 i.e X-32, F-8, F-2, Lewinsky
