A Beautiful day at Branscombe

How many Harvards?

More pictures follow later, I’ve had a smashing day, and am totally worn out, plus I have a rather nice visitor (but she’s not interested in hairyplaines :()

No – we’re only showing half of what was at Branscombe. There was a huge classic car show and, what I can only describe as, a very large car boot sale. If it were not for all the hedges between fields, & the hill – the fields slope down slightly, away from the side of the runway, it would have been even better.

I purposely photographed the Auster with the haystack in shot (I took others too) to show how unique it was, in airshow terms. The airshow didn’t last very long – 1.35 to 4.30, but there was some nice variety.

I guess you could say it was a nice rural picnic type day.

My legs really ache today, from traversing those hills.

More pics follow a little later.

Superb shots chaps, wish I’d have been there, but from your shots I’d say I feel I was!!!!! If you get what I mean.
