Today started as any other day ….. an early schedule from AMS …

Then some of the locals came out to enjoy the fun in the sun …

The usual Dash 8 looked a little more interesting ?

Then the BIG one arrived, may not be too exciting to those of you who live near larger airports …. but for us in sticksville … a 767-330 is big and bold !

The crew noticed my new camera ? 😉

And to round of another average day this one sneaked out of a spray shop and disapeared into the night ……. and the postman missed it all … Oh well !

No Keith, Sunday at 13:55 local, not Z. We maybe 10 mins early, I’d hate for you to miss it 😀
There is only one study you need to know about the Q400, and that is there is no technique to land the thing softly. If pilots tell you any different they’re either lying, or they fluked it 😀
Don’t make me laugh at this time of the morning I’m trying to go home looking suitably worn out after a hard night shift. Especially as the other half will still be in bed when I get home (signed off from work for 2 weeks as the medication for her Rhumatoid Arthritis has killed her immune system and she has been trying to shake a cold for 3 weeks now).

Newforest. Yep ! just looked at the specs and the 747-856, with the stretched upper deck and the optional cargo pannier fitted between each pair of main undercarriage legs it’s just 2mtrs longer than the runway at NWI .. so it’s back to Frankfurt for that one … :diablo: 😀

Hi Keith….That close up on the 767 is pretty nifty and gets my vote, and the Embraer 190 is a good catch so all in all NWI is back on the map again.Lovely shots and thanks for sharing. Was the postman on strike.Ha,ha.:)
