Next month, Philippine Airlines will be flying from Manila to Las Vegas via Vancouver. Quite interesting that the Vancouver – Las Vegas sector will be operated by their A343 rather than using a code share.
That c/s will be an interesting change at Las Vegas!

Just checked their Flight Schedule – it shows MNL-YVR as zero stops.

The A340 has a range comparable to the 747-400. Maybe slightly less.

MNL-YVR is kind of pushing it for an A340-300, isn’t it, at least on the westbound sector? I know When Phillipine does SFO/LAX-MNL, on the westbound sector, they stop in HNL to refuel with the A340. With the 744, they don’t have to.

Glad you like it. I really enjoy our flights with this airline, and now looking forward to our next trip in a few weeks time, MNL-PPS by A320 and the return on A330.
Cost for the return trip (approx one hour each way) £80.:D
