Ventured over to Old Warden on the Thursday during the Pilots Training Week. The weather seems to have been consistent during that time being rubbish in the morning and sunny in the afternoon and it was a bit cool while I was there although some seemed to think it was cold. Finally gave my Sony 70-400mm G SSM lens and Sony Alpha 450 camera a good work out and quite pleased with what I came away with and a bit more practice I think. I spent the morning not far from the tower and the afternoon at the top end of the airfield for some landing/take off shots.

Brilliant shots. That glider looks like a wood and canvas seagull. Why does the Lysander always look as though the undercarriage bow was made out of disused tram line?
