Hi All,
Myself and Northern_Git had a trip over to MAN yesterday to meet up with Adam Spalding and shoot some planes! Apologies for the similar angles, but heyโฆ Itโs a nice angle!

I think I can quite confidently say, I haven’t seen many better photo posts on this forum than that! Absolutely stunning, Sir. I love the FlyJet, Thomas Cook 757-300 and Eurocypria shots especially. Can’t get enough of that angle!
And….. Please post some more. ๐ฎ

Now, tell the nice ladies and gentlemen where I found you on the hottest, sunniest day of the year so far at MAN……….. :diablo:
While our local Star generously radiated its warm, tender light, allowing it to gracefully kiss the surface of our little blue sphere of life and giving us the opportunity to treasure those rarely experienced moments generally associated with all things positive, I was in a dark, dusty and long forgotten recess hidden deep within the unearthly bowels of the Tatton Arms, gently caressing a pint of Carling. ๐
Thanks again, all!
Paul

Fantastic Planeography Paul ๐ Awesome shots and great quality as usual. Like some of the new framing too, you really showed the chubbiness of HRC! ๐

Yay! Another A330 fan! Woo!
Beautiful shots Paul. All these recent fantastic photo threads from Manchester and the like are only working to turn me into more and more of a quivering wreak.
I shall have to meet up with you all at Manchester in the next couple of weeks! ๐

Cool, havn’t got a fence in the way then. I was woundering, it looked like you were inside the paramiter fence. Keep up the good work.

Very nice shots. How did you get close to take them. How did you get so close to the taxiway.
That’s the beauty of Manchester. There are plenty of good vantage points all around the airport. ๐
A nice selection, Paul, and all to the standard that we’ve come to expect from you.
Now, tell the nice ladies and gentlemen where I found you on the hottest, sunniest day of the year so far at MAN……….. :diablo:

Thankyou! At the southern side of the airport there’s a raised hill that runs alongside most of the length of 05R/23L, although you’re actually probably around 120 metres from the actual runway. As for the taxiway shots, I just have a really big lens. ๐

That is indeed a nice angle ๐ The Etihad A330 is my favourite of the bunch – I like the way it fills the frame.
Nice t-shirt Adam :p
