Today Hunter Flying at Exeter paid tribute by doing a flypast at the funeral and on the second flypast Sqn Ldr Chris Heames the pilot carried out his own tribute by doing a victory roll in a Hawker Hunter which the family said that it looked fantastic over the funeral of such a pioneer of aviation.

Never knew he had such a distiguished career, but I did know he came from a real RAF family.
He was WingCo Flying for a while when I was at Whatashame
