Hi All,
Well… After waiting for a while we finally had a day without rain, so myself and Tom (LBARULES) paid our home airport of LBA a long overdue visit.
Today was also my first day of aviation photography using my new Canon 30D. I’m using a different process to edit them, and as I’m not quite used to it yet a couple of the shots here do (to my eyes at least), look ‘processed’, but I’ll get the hang of it eventually!
Enjoy!

Excellent work Paul! Love the one of DAZ, flown her once BLK-STN. Have you noticed any significant differences yet between the 350D and 30D, or do you think it’s something that you have yet to experiment?

Even more odd as FCA had an aircraft working out and back from LBA to Kitilla today!! Seems odd to use two different aircraft in two days?

AFAIK, the FCA 757 was in for this flight tomorrow:
FCA6448 KITILLA 0710
Seems a bit odd that they would have an aircraft sat at LBA all day doing nothing, but there we go!

Fantastic selection there Paul, incredibly sharp and clear!
I wasnt aware FCA had any aircraft flying out of LBA, was it there for one of those Lapland flights or…?

The last one was my favourite as well. 🙂
Look just as good here as they did earlier mate, thanks for a fun afternoon! Looking forward to getting my shots with your rather nice 350D on here soon. 🙂
