A couple from a glorious LHR (13/07/08) Who needs RIAT?

Hey all,

Before i post the photos i thought it would be a good opportunity for me to introduce myself, as i have only just started using the forums properly!

My names Tom, I’m from Leicestershire, south to some people, north to others. It’s called the midlands. I’m 20 years old and i take photos of planes! what else do you need to know?

Anyway, on to the photos. Me and fellow JP/Anet photorapher Ryan McGrath had already booked a hotel for saturday night and had planned to attend RIAT on sunday. Before we left on saturday evening we found out that due to the weather it was cancelled. We were a bit dissapointed as you can imagine, but we decided to hit up LHR on the sunday with the promise of some fair weather.

Well, it was one of the best days i have had the pleasure of spending down there, glorious sunshine and fantastic clouds as a backdrop all day.
