Took Thursday and Friday off but as usual the weather was not the best… apart from Friday morning.
Here’s a handful of shots
The Nordic MD landing on Thursday, in from Stockholm.
Here’s the Lithuanian 737-500 going out on Thursday after dropping off a bunch of trippers and sliders.
Have Continental and BA paired up and are operating a twin tailed 757 ?
And so, up to the heliport where it had dulled down even more. SPHU returning from a sortie.
The whole idea of Friday off was to shoot the Kras Air IL96. Plenty of sun all morning but, in true form, a huge bank of CLOUD decided it wanted to see the 96 too.
The Tornado that broke managed to get away home on Friday too. And he couldn’t wait to get the gear up.
Sunday I was over at the Science Centre when the Ce208 came in. it was leaving in about half an hour so I made it over to Braehead to try for a take off. Normally they are airborne much earlier but he took this one nice and slow and I managed these shots in the murky grime.

Hopefully they’ll do more take-offs like that.

Rab, next the RAF will be getting rid of undercarriage as we know it and fitting the tornados with Fred Flintstone style holes in the floor & giving the crew special bouncy boots.
