Great pics. I must say those KC135s are quite loud. This morning 3 of them and then 4 Chinooks went over my house from Macdill AFB. It was incredible.

Looks like PIK was busy this weekend.

I heard that on Saturday morning visibility at the west end was 400m, and at the east end 8km 🙂 At Cumbernauld it was struggling to be 200m 🙁

Information given to me and passed onto Jethro is that of last week the following 732’s are WFU at Prestwick… EI-CJE, CJF,CJH,CNY,CKQ,CKR,CKS and COA.

I haven’t been down to PIK for a month almost, so can’t confirm I’ve seen the Kilkenny (CNY) jet other than when it was still in use on returning from my SNN trip late September as pictured.

Some have been moved around between the northside storage area and the southside maintenance hangar area. I also understand a number will be leaving for Autodirect Aviation in around 10 days time?

Dont think Kilkenny has been yet.

I didn’t think so either until I read it, maybe Jetros himself can confirm or deny as it was his website where I read it.

I wish I’d gotten out of bed in time this morning, an RAF VC-10 is either still in or just gone? And a BMI A330 came in at 1140 for an hour’s circuit bashing.

You just can’t beat PIK for variety! 😀
