A couple pictures

They are’t much but I figured I’d give them a post in case someone is interested.

I’ve never encountered or heard of an airport State side where the pushback wasn’t handled by company employees. Airports make their money in landing fees and fuel.

Ren Frew

Most pushbacks are included within the basic ground handling fee paid to the likes of Servisair, Groundstar et al.

Usually, if paid for seperately, they range from £50 to £200 per pushback….very expensive!

Airports only charge for pushbacks if they perform the ground handling (which is uncommon).

Speaking of “reversers” does anyone know how much airports charge roughly for pushback services ?

There are quite a few ERJ operators in the UK now but I don’t think any of them have taken up the reverse option.

Yes. I think there is only 1 operator in the states who opted to not have the reversers installed. I don’t know who as I’ve never seen it but reference has been made to them by our maintenance department. It seems that their expected brake wear was less than ours WITH reversers.

Lovely shots WD, Isn’t the NWA A320 actually an A319 though ? Only one over wing exit ?

Love that NWA pic. Great c/s. can’t until they start operating the A330’s into LGW… does anyone know how long we will be waiting for that to happen?

Cheers for the pics WD. 🙂

The first picture was a view out the front. Here’s what brings up the rear.

The new NWA paint job on the A320. I still like the old livery better.
