A number of kind people on the forum have contacted me both on and off board to offer best wishes for the safe arrival of our baby.
So, a completely aircraft unrelated thread to announce the safe arrival of our second daughter Ellis Faye, on Wednesday 11th October, weighing 9lb12oz.
Mods – please leave this here, as I dont know anyone on the GD board, and will be happy to delete the thread in a couple of weeks.

Congratulations to the Bruces from dahn under. Glad everyone’s OK, and I’m sure you are working on the “Little Tyke’s Book of de Havilland Aircraft’ even as we speak.

Welll done Mr & Mrs Bruce. If she starts crying, put her in the cockpit of the Chipmunk. That’ll stop the tears and make her smile. It works every time for me!
I love the names.
I wish! I have just been battling with Niamh (No1 daughter) to get her to sleep. At 11:05, we went for a half hour drive, which has done the trick, but left me not ready for sleep yet!
Anyway, a heartfelt thanks to you all for your best wishes – it really is appreciated. My wife, Chrissi, really went through it this time, and it was not a good experience for her. All the kind words mean a lot.
All the best
Bruce
