A day of being 'buzzed'!

The day started with the unveiling of a memorial in Redlingfield, Suffolk to the crew of a 95th BG B-17G (photo will follow later) and we were treated to a flyby of a Dakota (BBMF?)

Following the ceremony I went home for lunch and then spent an hour or so at Thorpe Abbotts where Mr Hammond graced us with a couple of beautiful passes and a small display in Marinell

Shortly followed by the L-5

And then a flyby by a Rans S-6!

Enjoy!

Yes that is the BBMF Dak I reckon when I saw her out Lowestoft way last week she was gearing up for that appearance. Finding landmarks and aiming points for the flypast possibly.
