10 photos of 10 yokes or grips from 10 aircraft types. A point for each…..I think 682al should be excluded for a while as he is far too clever!!!

I’m sure he has got it right. Still unusual in the details though. more more more!!!! I’m happy because its kept me away from all the marking I have to do!… a teachers work is never done…..:(
Thanx chaps for humouring my weird quiz….Ill post some more soon to help you work off that Xmas food and drink lol!!!!
The Concorde one is early and was used on a simulator so is prob pre-prod..nice still!! My TSR2 one I just love to bits!!!:)

Rocketeer’s TSR2 stick top is legendary (lucky sod)
Am pretty sure if he records that the other grip is from a Concorde, it is – he knows what he’s talking about (even if he is a git :p for having a luurvely bit of TSR2..even 682al hasnt got one of those!)

concorde one doesn’t seem quite right. The switch positions and mountings are right, but the layout of the grips seems different. Production Concordes’ grips seem to be separate assemblies to the yoke itself, or atleast fixed at 90 deg to the ‘y’ shaped column.

if it doesn’t work, cut and paste….
Maybe it is a pre production one!
Gutted about the TSR2 one….. I was contemplating that one, but I thought ‘how the devil would he get hold of a TSR2 column?……’ Damn.
Good fun though! More please

6 Concorde? Not any Concorde cockpit I have looked in! Similar in shape but the detail is very different, maybe they varied a bit (prototypes etc). That looks an earlier generation yoke and nearer the Britannia.

No 9 looks like a Twin Beech…but if it were, Texantomcat would have noticed.

I’d say Scout/Wessex, Hunter and VC10 for the missing ones….

The Blenheim and Beaufighter are very similar, but that one is def Blenheim!
5,6,8 & 10 are still unidentified…..will put you all out of your misery tomorrow…however, probably time to unleash the 682Al hound!!!:D
By: pagen01 - 19th December 2007 at 10:18
No 6 defo not Trident or 125.
Looks very similar to Britannia, but not quite.
The Blenheim wheel looks the same as a Beau’s, any chance they are the same? Anything to get more points!:o

Anyone else think number three looks like ET? 😀
No, it’s more like Number 5/Johnny Five from Short Circuit (1986)!
