Hi All
I have been down in the southern part of the country due to work for the past few days, and thought I would pop into Bournemouth for an hour or two to check out the airport and the aviation museum. Surprise surprise the weather wasn’t up to much, but on the positive the aviation museum is well worth a look & I would recommend it to anyone.
The traffic at BOH (on my visit) was made up of Military, GA & Commercial. I wasn’t sure where to place this post, but as the thread begins and ends with a commercial aircraft, commercial it is.
Apologies for 2 pictures of the same aircraft but as PMN will back me up, there really isn’t much activity at BOH.
Comments welcome as always.
Many Thanks
Adam

Only TOM 737 I saw was the NG version i manage to snap away at. Also i managed to see parked over by the SP was a TOM B752. Is that common for BOH?
Massive shame about the museum, I’m aiming to get back down there again once more before it moves at Christmas. James do you have an idea what sort of commercial traffic I could see on a weekend?
Many Thanks
Adam
I have no idea why the TOM 757 is there:confused: I am not sure now as its the Winter Flights , I think this should help you just click on the places and it shows you the day its in.

James, you are right about the museum. I was chatting to one of the ladies there. She said they are probably going to be moving by Christmas. It is a real shame for two reasons, 1 because photography will be a problem because of the sun and 2 the current muesum has an excellent view of the holding point. Brilliant infact
Sorry James but what aircraft is G-THOK?
Adam
Yeah its a shame that the Museum is moving north has it had a brilliant veiw off the runway /Taxiway and with choppers blowing you away 😀 Well G-THOK is one of the Thomson Twins as they know down there with G-THOH
that are based at BOH 😎 I also see in your shot the based SP was in.

I hear the aviation museum is moving to the North side of the airport.
BTW did you see G-THOK nice shots there like the RAF Herk shot.

Depends on what time you go to BOH it can be very busy ,Saturday is the best day I think but as the Winter months come in it does go Quiet at Hurn and I hear the aviation museum is moving to the North side of the airport.

The weather may have been against you but as Si says, your images are nonetheless very sharp and clear. Great work as usual, Sir Spalds!
As far as traffic is concerned, having texted you the movements I certainly can confirm that Bournemouth isn’t the busiest of airports!

Very nice! I was tempted to visit BOH last summer but the lack of traffic put me off. I’ll have to try it one day, though.

Maybe dull weather but you images are great, very sharp and clear. The FRA Falcon does it for me. Well done Adam.
