a Fairey Battle wing portion ?

Dear all ,

this piece of metal was found on the beach near Perpignan (department : Pyrenees Orientales) in the South West of France.
Size is 1,40 m.

I have in mind that a Fairey Battle was lost in this area : on 20 february 1940, Battle Mk.I – s/n K9193 105 Sq. Pilot P. Murray was recuperated;

Can anybody confirm that this wing portion comes from a Battle ?

Alternatively, if not a Battle, any other idea ?

I know that a marking appears, I will have the photo tomorrow and will share it with you.
