Thanks for the comments.:)
I thought you guys would like to see some of the aircraft we have in NZ.
The 3/4 scale Mustang is a Titan version with a few mods to make it look more authentic.
There is more at my website link below:

http://capphotography.fotopic.net/

Only processing I do is with photoshop 2.
I bit of contrast and sharpness and thats about it really.
Always do a bit of centering where needed and removing the odd dust spot.
I am sure there are better ways of doing things but thats all I do.
I loathe spending heaps of time editing on the computer.

I would be interested as to what other photographers do.:)

I shoot in Jpeg fine. No raw on my camera, and tiff is a waste of time/memory/energy.
I use the same routine…in CS2
(1) Crop to suit desired output
(2) Drag the pointers to each end of the histogram in “Levels”
(3) Possibly adjust colour balance if the light was bad.
(4) Add a new background layer, sharpen with “Other”/ High pass at around 3 pixels.
(5) Change that layers blending mode to “soft light” and play with the opacity to remove any over sharpening…which at 3 pixels is rare.
Everything I do in PS is on it’s own layer, I never flatten the image unless it is for emailing or web use.

Too good for mere words.

Very boring questions……what kit and what post processing software was used? (I know the skill is yours, but I like to know what the pro’s choose)

Stunning stuff again, Gavin.

What’s the second replica Mustang? Not a Thunder Mustang job, is it?

Stunning, Gavin, absolutely stunning! Thanks for posting them.

I think I’ll go and throw my camera in the bin when I get home:o

Holy CRAP! 😮

I’ll say “awesome” as well – especially the seven Fokkers!
