My job took me to Anchorage for a few days … here’s a few impressions. Not St. Maarten, but pretty darn close ….

Amazing shots there. I’ve never thought much of Anchorage but looking at that, it looks pretty good for spotting

This will sound like a dumb question ,but why is Anchorage such a big cargo player? Is it a pit stop or gas and go facility? Or is it really a great big cargo hub ?
As they say, i’ts not the end of the world, but you can see it from there

Probably more a pit stop for those old knackered B742’s 🙂

Something to do with its location near the top of the globe?
Great shots, who wants to organise the ANC Meet 2006?

Fantastic shots; looks like cargo city!! Interesting to see a Korean A330; I didn’t realise these operated across the Pacific.

Great selection of pictures, doesn’t look as though you had much time for ‘work’!
