I promised someone here (Dazza??) a better scan of the Ukrainian Su-27, found another batch of negatives and had a mad half hour knocking these up! The Ukrainian I shot at Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic) in September 1999 whilst the Russian Knights I took at RAF Leuchars way back in September 1991. I’m pretty sure these were the first Flankers I ever saw fly…unless one made an appearance at either Farnborough or Le Bourget previous to the Russian Knights coming across to the UK.
