A soon as I found out our Conti’ flight was being upgraded to a B767-400 today I made sure I would get myself up there, weather was terrible at first but it sooned brightened up and it was rather plesant 😀 .
Here’s some from the day.
Astraeus B757-200 G-OPJB heading out for 33, you can see how bad the weather was to start with! and thank to Jon with his editing job.

Air France BAe 146-200 EI-PAT heading out for CDG.

On short final for 33 is Learjet 45 G-GOMO.

Continental B767-424(ER) N67052 operating flight CO27 to Newark/Liberty.

Thomsonfly B767-304(ER) G-OBYJ about to depart to the Dominican Republic.

And completley unrelated but I got my first car on Saturday, so today was my first drive to the airport 😀 😎 and today the front/left wheel trim disspeared somewhere on the way back 😡

Hope you enjoyed!

Does anyone know what the fancy coloured, wingletted 737- 7 or 800 was at BHX today. I couldn’t see an airline but it looked like a special livery.
Only saw a flash past when I was on the train.

So thats where that wheel trim came from! Was causing havoc on runway 15/33! lol.
Glad to see you driving now 🙂 we should be seeing more of you now at BHX!
Cool pix, especially of the CO 764, I was just walking into work when I saw her taxiing out for departure. 🙁 You were lucky with the weather as it was raining (AGAIN!) soon after and they switched to Runway 15!

Thanks Matt and James, much appeciated 😎 .
I always wonder about people who obscure car number plates… Who cares? Or is it in expectation that BHX security reads these topics, and you don’t want to alert them to your serrepticious missions onto airport property to persue your hobby of aircraft photography? :p
Yes I was actually wondering the same thing when I was doing it but people just seem to for some reason..yeah that about covers my reasons for it :D. As for BHX security they don’t have a problem, I’m just waiting for one of them to say Hello!
PS: Nice pics BTW
PPS: Now, with a car, comes the challenge of parking, and often having to pay for such! 😉
Thanks Andy 🙂 and yes, £6.50 for four hours at BHX. It doesn’t get to you when it’s your first time driving a car mind you 😉 , I’m sure it will with a short period of time :diablo: .
