Hey everyone,
Last Thursday I took a trip out to Brooklands museum in Weybridge, home of British Motorsport and British Aviation…and also bad weather it would seem! :p
The aircraft there seem to have taken a turn for the worse, the VC-10 outside is in terrible condition as are certain parts of concorde! The cleanest looking bird there was the BAC 1-11, and this was the only one open to the public (besides concorde). They have had a new arrival in recent weeks, in the form of another VC-10 in BA colours (G-ARVM), which I think came from Cosford?
The shots I got are not great because of the dull weather, I hope to go back in the summer and obtain some better ones.
Enjoy!

Ooooo I recognise that place! passed it on the train on the way to London with Ben (Airline Owner). Does look like an interesting place to stop off, nice selection :).

The LHR model arrived today by all accounts. 🙂

That would be correct – its in a very bad positon! 🙁 But given the space they have, theres not much else they can do. I’ve also heard that G-CONC, the big model from LHR, is heading to Brooklands too.
Brilliant pics there and glad the model has a new home:cool:

does it look like it’s been wedged out the way inbetween two hangars?

Ah… a lifesize Concorde in my favourite colours. Is it just the pictures or does it look like it’s been wedged out the way inbetween two hangars ?
Must get down there for a look see anyhow… 😎
