After several ‘false starts’, today was my first visit to Bruntingthorpe.
Superb – and good weather, too. The crowd was much larger than I thought it’d be – full marks to all at Bruntingthorpe, especially the LPG. What a great effort they’ve made with the ‘Q’ Shed.
My photos are off a digi-compact so can’t match the SLRs…..hopefully others will add to the thread. No apologies – I like Lightnings ! 😉
I’m already looking forward to going there again…..

If crosswind at brunty were anything the same at coningsby it’s no surprise it didn’t make it

Did the Lancaster do a flypast there?
I think Bruntingthrope was on the lancasters list. I only ask because I live near bletchley park and was waiting for it to come over my house to do the flypast there and it never turned up. I assumed it was too windy.
