KLM use PIK for training flights quite often. Prestwick was the first UK airport to see their new 777’s for example and just last week they had a 747 in for some circuit bashing.
Visiting can be like going to an airshow sometimes, with different types coming and going and others doing circuits round the left and right sides of the field.
It can either be a good day out or a really quiet one, ‘famine or feast’ as the saying goes.
