Here are a few shots from MAN over the last couple of days.

I have no idea why the VLM Fokker 50 was operating from T2. Any suggestions?
Enjoy….. 😀

The Emirates was arriving.
MAN was on 06s that day. 😀
Belated thanks for the comments chaps. 🙂
I’ve spotted the flaws in my original argument. Oops. I always find Manchester a confusing airport especially as the taxi chart I always use is not oriented to North as all the others I use are. The same is true for almost all maps and diagrams of the airport you find which are all 180 degrees out.

Were the first 2 taken from Heald Green Station?
Heald Green station is a favourite spot of mine, but these 2 pictures were actually taken from the car park of the nearby hotel which is almost directly underneath approaching aircraft as they pass low over Finney Lane.

Were the first 2 taken from Heald Green Station? Was on a train passing through there a few weeks ago now, and noticed a Ryanair 738 pass over low on final approach 🙂

Stunning, I love the sharpness of your shots but to be brutally honest I don’t like the angles of the first to – but that’s just my opinion
who cares?
thanks for the shots squire, its good to share!

The Emirates is departing. Check out the flap setting and lack of reversers. With 24 in use it is normally L for departures and R for arrivals due to the stagger of the runways and taxiing and holding at the threshold of the runways. 24R departures would be a huge taxi!

I think the Jet2 shot really demonstrates the approach config. Very nice.
