You may be interested to hear that the rumoured seasonal MAN-Miami service due to start in October can now be booked on the AA website.

dcfly, the best place is in the Viewing Park, then there is top of T1 Car Park level 13, where Grey Area’s pics come from, then there is the Pub on the threshold of 24R, and there are a few humps right next to 24L. Go to www.ringwayreports.co.uk for more spotting info.
P.S u don’t get bmi A330’s anywhere else in the UK either (exept MAN of course):D

dcfly: Send me a PM nearer the time and we’ll see what we can do about providing you with a local guide. 😎

Yes, bmi-star, PK720 is the inbound flight code.

Some of the “services” are actually little more than tech stops for flights between Pakistan and USA/Canada, by738.

What else can I say? It seems that PIA love MAN………. 😀

Why does MAN get so many PIA routes ? Fair enough their is a large local population, but it surely doesnt warrant 4 PIA widebodies on the ground at once ?
Its always amazed me. Especially when their is more PIA expeansion planned at MAN.

Thanks for your kind comments, chaps!

Actually, bmi-star, if you look at the left-hand edge of the last picture, you’ll see the wingtip of a PIA 747-300.

There were 2 777s (AP-BGJ and AP-BGK) and 2 747s (AP-BFX and AP-BFY) of PIA on the ground at once, but I wasn’t able to catch them all parked on T2 together.

I love MAN! Look at the 3 PIA’s in the last pic. Looks more like Islamabad than Manchester, and the weather is gorgeous there!:D Great pic’s again Grey Area. And good to see 747’s still using Peir C. 747’s at T1 are rare since EAL’s departure.
Keep MAN pic’s coming I say!
