Came back from a fortnights holiday in the Cuban Cayos last week. Managed to get a few decent shots at Cayo Coco – CCC prior to departure that came out OK….
The Excel 763 was our ride home. The Air Transat 310 was a beaut, have always loved the lines of the 310. And the little Beech 1900 was used to ferry cabin crew from CCC over to Dominican Rep to catch flights back to the UK.
Final shot shows pretty much the entire terminal building, you could fit half of LGW’s South Terminal departures hall into the entire terminal here.

1992? 😮 Flippin ‘eck! It’s the worst condition 13 year old airliner I’ve ever seen.

Quite surprised to read it was ‘ancient’ was only manufactured in 1992, mind you its had use from a fair few airlines.

That terminal is indeed very pokey. Was very glad our flight wasn’t delayed too long as there were barely any seats left and the Canadian’s were just starting to check in for that A310 that had just arrived when our flight was called.
The terminal is actually only a few years old, just very basic. The old Cayo Coco airstrip now forms part of one of the island’s main road out to Cayo Guillermo. It’s the smoothest bit of road on the island!
The Excel 763 was looking a bit ropey these days inside. Not a patch on the Thomas Cook A330 that topjet330 was on last year. Next time I fly that distance again I’ll make sure to try and get something a bit less ancient.

i had the pleasue at flying this route and staying in the cayos last year.
One A330 fills the entire departure lounge by the way.

Excellent shots, always nice to see some from somewhere a little more ‘exotic’.

The terminal looks rather antiquated, probably like most buildings in Cuba i should imagine!!!!!!
